These truly are a futuristic pair of armchairs, with a coated steel frame, a perforated sheet steel seat and two expanded rotating polyurethane backrests, signed Alias. They are in superb condition for their age & from a Important Titled Estate collection. It is testament to Botta's design genius than numerous Museums of modern art have selected him as the designer of their principle buildings. These exceptional chairs are a true 20th Century classic & absolute work of art.

An example of these chairs is in the permanent collection at the Museum of Modern Art, New York and the Victoria & Albert Museum, London.
