A very good , original, slender timepiece walnut wall clock dating to the early 1900's made by Lenzkirch of Germany. It has an Greek style pediment, with reeded side pilasters to the front, glazed sides, and a shaped ogee base. The white two piece enamel dial is signed by the original retailer in England, Howe Brothers. It has an 8 day weight driven movement with a dead beat escapement and maintaining power, complete with its original winder. The movement is stamped Lenzkirch, is numbered 1 million, 795122, dating it to 1914.
The case retains its excellent original finish with a lovely patina. The enamel dial is perfect, the movement has been serviced in our own workshops and is guaranteed for 12 months within the UK.
