Arlene Cornell is primarily a painter of landscapes, harbour and coastal scenes. She has a studio in Rockaway Park, New York. Influences on her work have included Dong Kingman, Andrew Wyeth and Edward Hopper. She has exhibited with many galleries in and around New York and also in Toronto, Canada. Her work is represented in many commercial collections and she is a Member of the Brooklyn Watercolour Society and the Rockaway Artists Alliance.

This painting is a large watercolour and is housed behind glass in a dark strip frame with mount. If a purchaser required this item to be delivered through the post then the glass would need to be removed for safety reasons and because of its large size it may be more economic to send only the watercolour without mount & framing. Overall, including framing, it measures 31(h) by 38(w) inches.
Not examined out of frame but appears to be in good condition.
The backboard bears a label for The Reece Galleries of 39 West 32nd Street, New York City.
