A portrait miniature of a young dark haired gentleman, he is wearing a green jacket with a black collar, white waistcoat white chemise and white cravat. He has dark brown eyes and dark curling hair.

Watercolour on ivory in an oval gold frame, the reverse with curls of hair held with gold wire and seed pearls.

Freese worked from 4111 The Strand, London and exhibited at the Roayal Academy 1794-1814.
