This very unusual pair of Tongs have shaped arms which are beautifully engraved with flower heads in ovals, foliate scroll work and sunburst motifs. The top of the arched section is engraved with a vacant navette cartouche. These Tongs are in excellent condition and this is the first time we have seen this design coming from the Bateman workshops. The quality of design and production is exceptional. Length: 10.75 inches.
