Used for creating grooves in cabinet making. Moulded fence block and turned and threaded arms and tightening nuts. Brass nut for adjusting planing depth. Wedge intact and holding blade number 5. Impressed maker’s name W WATKINS, BRADFORD and the original owner, W Clark. William Watkins was a tool and plane maker working out of 19 Westgate, Bradford, between 1845 and 1877.
