A late 19th century Swiss carved wood Black Forest aneroid barometer and thermometer.
The case is made from a carved wood frame made in the shape of a pair of percussion cap rifles crossed with a shot flask below and a carved wolf above and decorated with carved pine cones and branches.
The aneroid barometer has open works with a bevelled glass covering the dial and the thermometer is mounted on an opaque glass back.
The carved case and barometer are in good condition. (Circa 1890)
