Isaac Hadwen II (1723-1767) was son of a Isaac Hadwen, also a clockmaker; furthermore, his son Isaac (III) succeeded him in the business. He was a prolific clockmaker of high quality grand Liverpool-styled clocks in his short life. His wife continued the business after his death, until his son took over in 1777.

The identical dial by Hadwen is photographed on page 133 of Clockmakers of Northern England by Brian Loomes.
