The interior is fitted with ten engine turned silver-mounted and engraved with the letter "R", cut-glass containers hall marked: George Betjemann & Sons. Circa: 1873
Which surround a tool pad containing various tools with mother of pearl handles.
On the back edge of the open box there is a brass button which when pressed opens a drawer at the front of the box. This draw contains a large storage space and a padded section for storing rings, earrings and cufflinks.
This jewellery drawer has a brass retailers plaque which reads:
Collings. 31 Milson St Bath
One the left edge of the open box is another brass button, which when pressed opens a drawer to the right side of the box allowing further secret storage for those precious items.
This antique Burr Walnut dressing case comes with a fully working lock and tasselled key.
