The separate cast bobeche of foliate and floral border conforms with the detail to the broad drip pan base. The rococo handle with floral detail and the candle holder with acanthus above the stem of lotus form. The conical doubter with leaf scale decoration is attached by a chain. Bears the maker’s mark: E.J.W.B. for Edward John & William Barnard, London and Hallmarked for the year 1847.
