Emily Farmer was a miniaturist and genre painter. She exhibited at the Royal Academy and the New Society of Painters in Watercolour (N.W.S.) from 1847 and she was elected member of the N.W.S. in 1854. She specialised in genre studies of children and her work can be found in the collection of Victoria and Albert Museum.
Perfect condition. Newly mounted and framed.
