Charles Gouyn (d 1785) was a jeweller working in St James's, London, who was known to be a partner in the Chelsea factory before 1749. He set up his own porcelain factory to produce exquisite domestic ornaments including scent bottles, bodkin cases, figures and other 'toys' finely glazed, allowing very detailed modelling as seen on this triple scent bottle.
