This rare and beautiful little nightlight was on exhibition in the glass museum in Dusseldorf for many years. It is pictured in the book by Ricke page 93. It has a bronze foot with a cicada. Under the foot there is a date : 21 juillet 1922. It is blown for the lamp. Its round opening is finished hot, so round , so on the top they broke the pontil of. Mint condition. Unique piece.
Imagine you are afraid of the dark and keep this little light burning to scare all the bad dreams and demons away. Or just have it lit waiting for you and welcome you back home.
