This quality mahogany Chinese Chippendale design Edwardian Bergere Sofa / Settee circa 1900 is in the ‘cock pen’ design. With open lattice work sides, blind fretwork fronts and have been beautifully upholstered in an expensive quality fabric this quality chair has the original makers/retailers label pioneer stores, Liverpool. The antique Bergere Sofa is a rich medium mahogany colour with a Striking grain, good patina, are in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
