An unusual early 19th century Chinese export 'soft paste' porcelain large saucer dish, hand painted with the so called 'Elephant' pattern, copied from a Staffordshire blue printed design used by Rogers and other potters.
It is rare to find Chinese porcelain which is a direct copy of an English design at this period.
