Famille rose group of "The Laughing Twins", Hehe Erxian, late Quianlong (1736-1795) period.
Modelled with one twin seated on a raised rocky outcrop on the left and with his tunic open to the waist, his brother seated lower at the right holding an auspicious bowl of food raised at his left shoulder.
the group has been restored as there was an hairline crack going through the middle, near the toad face.
