Chinese Celadon made at the kilns of Longquan in the 17th century. Carved saucer dish with a quickly incised Shou or Good luck sign to the centre and a combed wave style pattern around the rim.
The piece is very well glazed over a thickly potted body and to the underside there is a 'feathered' pattern which is a rare design
being a later piece of Celadon it is a more soapy colour rather than the Ming or Yuan 'jade' coloured celadon.
The piece is in excellent condition and is an unusual piece
perfect
from the Fiorentini Collection that was put together from the end of the World War II until the 1980s
