An excellent George III Chippendale period mahogany serving table. The rectangular top with excellent original colour & patina, over a tapering, shaped moulding above a geometric carved leaf blind fretwork frieze. The table is supported by square section chamfered legs with tremendous, probably original carved and shaped fretwork ears between the top of the legs and the frieze. A well used and no doubt well loved table of a very convenient size retaining a wonderful glowing honey colour.
Excellent. Cleaning waxing, minor old restorations of fretwork frieze.
