A dramatic gouache painting of a leopard hunt. One horseman pierces the leopards side, while another struggles to control his horse having dropped his lance, the other two horsemen appear to be making for safety. A town can be seen in the distance nestling beneath the hills.
A fie quality painting depicting a piece of history from the days of the Raj. Signed lower right C.W, painted on art card attached to a mount, presented within an oak frame with giltwood slip, all in good condition.
