Circa 1790 and later, Continental carved walnut and elm mirror, probably Italian, with a very stylish architectural pediment with a carved scallop shell in the centre and a male and female figure. Below this is a double frieze and an explosion of carvings with cherubs, goddesses, lion heads and floral carvings. In the centre is a small arch top mirror with bevelled edge which is supported by a carved top frieze and Corinthian pilasters. Below is carved swags, tails, birds. This is a wonderful carved piece of furniture. (Alterations.)
