There are columns to the four corners, against the front two of which cherubs are leaning, whilst at the centre of the arched top another cherub is sitting. To the four corners are finials and in the centre is a large circular column with further decoration. Above this is a domed top with an elaborate finial. The coloured enamel decoration extends to the four sides of the clock.
The movement, numbered 2043, strikes the hours and halves on a bell. The clock would date to the latter part of the 19th century. The gilded case has been washed but not repolished.
