The bell on top is most attractively shaped and the chapter ring, with Roman numerals, has a cut out between each numeral.
The clock rests on a small rectangular white marble base which, in turn, is supported by a much larger two tier coromandel base, the front of which is inlaid with a tortoiseshell design. To the front of the marble base is an oval silver plaque on which is engraved :-
‘ Presented to the Revd. W.W.Berry from his affectionate friends
on his leaving Famley 27th July 1852'.
Overall height, excluding dome - 18.5" (47 cm)
