The figure with it's plumage delineated in enamels on breast, wings and tail in blue, yellow and greens, head slightly tilted to the right, brown beak and iron-red wattles and comb, standing on a green conformingly-shaped base. Unmarked.

This popular model must have been made at various Delft factories in the 18th century. The vast majority of these objects have been intended as decoration in display cabinets or on etagères. This model originated in late 17th century Japanese Arita porcelain but is also well-known in early 18th century Dehua Blanc-de-Chine porcelain.
Good. Restoration to the base.
