Born in 1891 in Cirencester Gloucestershire Colin Sealy was and painter, muralist and teacher. He studied at the Royal Academy Schools in the 1920's. In 1924 he began teaching at Camberwell School of Arts and painted several privately commissioned murals. During World War II he served as a camouflage artist.

Colin Sealy married the artist Doris Vaughan but they separated in the 1950's. He exhibited with the Seven & Five Society and in 1977 a joint exhibition of Colin Sealy and Doris Vaughan was held by the Belgrave Gallery. He moved to Mousehole Cornwall where he died in 1964.

This item is sold mounted but unframed.
