“Fisherman’s Aneroid Barometers” were specifically manufactured, to this standard design, at Admiral Fitzroy’s behest, for the Board of Trade, by Dollond and Negretti & Zambra, and sold to masters of fishing vessels, initially for 5 shillings [25p]
