Early 19th Century King Wood Antique Writing Slope
c. 1810 London

The interior has box wood edging, brass decoration and the original leather. The leather is very intricately tooled and gilded with repeated flower design.
There is a mahogany tray with secret drawers, another secret drawer under the bridge and the maker's label in the other compartment.
The writing slope locks in the normal way, in addition both internal compartments lock separately as well.
English circa 1810
