179 Antique writing slope with brass edge and binding with flush fitted brass handles, escutcheon top plaque and other brass decoration. The timber is the finest quality kingwood.
The interior has box wood edging, brass decoration and the original leather. The leather is very intricately tooled and gilded with repeated flower design.
There is a mahogany tray with secret drawers, another secret drawer under the bridge and the maker's label in the other compartment.
The writing slope locks in the normal way, in addition both internal compartments lock separately as well.

English circa 1810
