A George III mahogany personal weighing scales with brass pointer and engraved calibrated shaft supporting the brass dish with a graduated set of weights on a plinth base. With brass mounted telescopic boxwood height measuring rod. The moulded square stand with ebony inlaid heel marks. The ivory scale signed with the maker’s name: ‘Young & Son, London’.
