A wonderful Regency period rosewood music stool to designs by George Smith. The adjustable seat, with hand cut steel screw thread, on a turned rosewood stem with gilt metal collar and carved stylised acanthus leaf, reeding and gadrooning on a quatreform base with turned tulip feet.
Excellent condition and of exceptional quality and superb color.
The original horsehair stuffed seat with rexine cover.
