The stool of low box form stands upon turned bun feet. The upholstery, which is original,
incorporates an elaborately bubbled plush top. The sides with close brass nailing
over flocked tapestry sides and a pair of regency gilt ring handles.
A stool similar to this is to be seen in the drawing room of Stourhead, Wiltshire.
