An early 20th century mahogany centre table in the Classical style, influenced by Robert Adam.

The top of this table is solid mahogany with a carving of flower decoration around the edge.

This leads down to a decorative carved frieze depicting on the front & back panels with a central Classical urn, surrounded by scrolling acanthus decoration.

On the sides of the frieze are various Classical carved designs with arch style carving with fan & husk decoration.

Within the frieze, above each leg is a stylised flower design patera.

The four legs have a collar at the top & a carved block with swag decoration.

These lead down to a tapered square & recessed leg carved with husks.

They stand on a block, carved with round patera terminating with a recessed leg on a block foot.

The piece is held together with carved & moulded stretchers with ball bead decoration. These hold a central recessed oval panel on which an ornament can be placed.

The bronze on this photograph is for photographic reasons only & is not included in the price.

This table is of stable construction & can go straight into a home.
