A rare early example of Chameleon ware with high lustre glaze (in contrast to later peices which had a semi-matt finish).
In excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
Impressed marking: "Chameleon, 226, England". 226 is the shape number.
Chameleon ware wsa made by Clews & Co Ltd., who operated from 1906 to 1961.
Diameter at top 2.8 inches (7 cm).
