The cabinet is fitted with one large pigeon hole, over an arrangement of three draws, this is flanked by two cupboards both beautifully inlaid with the Prince of Wales feathers.
There is a large central draw under the desk surface which is mounted with the original pressed guilt brass handles with a fine beaded decoration.
The legs taper down to spade feet.
The desk was featured in the 1955 Chelsea Autumn antiques fair, an example of the catalogue is available with the table.
