Full morocco bifolium by Chivers of Bath, bevelled edges. Multi-frame design, with a lettered inner vellucent panel to upper cover, broadly hexagonal in shape, art nouveau style gilt decoration as a surround. The two inner panels with gilt double fillet borders, with an inner double fillet frame and flower head corner pieces, the left hand panel is blank, the right hand panel with a preliminary sketched outline, giving the freedom of the Borough of Doncaster to Edward John Terry, in recognition of his service in the Air Force. Slightly rubbed to extremities, especially to spine, with some minor discolouring, but generally fairly bright. Interesting early draft, or abandoned project, from the Chivers Bindery in Bath
