A portrait miniature of a young boy wearing a grey jacket and white shirt with a black ribbon tie. Watercolour in oval gilt metal frame.

Additional Information: Edward Tayler exhibited at the R.A. & S.M. 1849-1905 from London addresses, he also worked in Nottingham. He was a founder member of the Royal Society of Miniature Painters and was Treasurer. He was patronised by members of the Royal family including H.R.H. Princess Beatrice and the Princess Alice. The miniature of Princess Beatrice is at Windsor Castle.
