The Eero Aarnio style ball chair is a modern day classic combining contemporary living with retro style since 1963, when it was first crafted by the Finnish designer. This iconic design has stood the test of time to become one of the most wanted pieces of furniture this year.

These retro round fibreglass ball chairs make a brilliant focal point in the room, as well as being fantastic to sit in. Lay back and enjoy the relaxing acoustics on the sturdy swivel base. The outer shell is created from high quality fibre glass material making this a durable piece of stylish furniture.

The Finnish designer Eero Aarnio was born in 1932 in Helsinki. He is one of the greatest of Finnish design from the sixties, thanks to his Ball Chair designed between 1963 and 1965. Aarnio created it for his own home and subsequently Asko decided to produce it and presented in 1966 at the International Furniture Fair in Cologne. The chair is a well-known classic Finnish design and Aarnio's international breakthrough. The shape is simple yet ingenious: often described as a “room in a room”. The Ball Chair can be found in the collections of design museums all over the world.
