A good sized mid 18th century English Delft, (probably Mortlake), punch bowl. This large bowl, is freely painted inside and out with rocks, trees, oriental pavillions and sprays of flowers in the Chinese style. Condition, minor rim chips, some glaze craquelure and three small firing blisters inside the bowl. Very good deep cobalt blue glaze. Overall very acceptable condition for Delftware this vintage.
Good. As with most Delftware there are some edge fritts. This bowl also has a small chip on the foot rim and some glaze craquelure..
