This is an English silver miniature carriage clock with clear hallmarks for London 1891 and maker for G.B.
The clock has a miniature carriage clock movement with a lever platform and is key wound / key set from the back. The clock is signed “French movement” which is typical of the period
The white enamel dial has blue steel hands and is in 95% mint condition – tiny marks only
The English silver case has a gilt covering and has a square base sitting on four ball feet.
The base and 4 sides are defined by columns with a pronounced spiral twist.
Each panel including, front, back and top are decorated with top quality bright cut engraving.
The case has a hinged handle on the top and a hinged door with a door knob on the back
The clock is in 95% mint condition – almost pristine condition
The clock measures 7cm high x 6cm wide x 4.5
