This watch is ticking and runs well, keeping time to around 15 minutes a day,
Also if this is your first pocket watch or buying it as a gift, please ask for advice prior to ordering it, as these watches are tricky to use and very easy to break.
Movement – the gilt full plate verge movement has a finely pierced watch cock with a grotesque face engraved on the base of the cock. The movement has a silver regulator disc and is signed “Robt Bridges, London” # 3761 and is in 95% mint condition – ultra clean
Inner case – the movement comes in a silver inner case, which has a hinged front cover with a small aperture and glass.
The watch is wound from the back, set from the front and swings out from the front also.
The case has a smooth plain finish and is in 90% mint condition – the usual groove from the outer case but still in excellent condition
Outer case – the original silver outer case also has a smooth plain finish and is in 90% mint condition –the button has worn off and light scratches on the back has created a matt effect
Dial – the white enamel dial has beautiful gilt hands and two chapter rings of numbers. The dial is in 98% mint condition – light scratches only
