A truly exceptional and elegant Windsor armchair of double-bow design, constructed entirely of yew wood, with an elm seat. The chair has an attractively shaped and pierced splat; arm supports curve unusually far back, set into the highly figured saddle-shaped elm seat; very elegantly shaped cabriole front legs and turned rear legs are joined by turned stretchers. This beautiful chair is richly patinated and of wonderful colour.
