A fine example of an 18th century George III mahogany chest on chest or tallboy.
The chest has a dental cornice above a broad blind fret frieze and substantial quarter Corinthian column corners with stopped reeding.
The chest base has high bracket shaped feet with unusual Chinese blind fret carving to the front.
The eight drawers are oak lined with a cock beaded edge and brass rococo swan neck handles with matching keyhole escutcheons.
The chest is a very good colour and is excellent quality.
