The crossbanded rosewood tops with striking rosewood veneers are bordered with brass stringing. The table tops swivel 90° to open fully revealing a replaced green baize. Each card table could seat four persons comfortably to play cards.

The rosewood veneered brass string frieze with a brass contrapartie panel reveals a concealed compartment

The tops sit on an unusual semi-eliptical rosewood veneered frame with matching roundels below, on a brass strung plinth base terminating with four out-swept brass strung legs with their original brass castors.
The card tables were owned by The Late Hon. Mrs Reginald ('Daisy') Fellows (d.1962) and by descent to James R. Gladstone Esq. Donnington Grove, Berkshire, England.
