A fine Regency rosewood and boulle inlaid center table, probably from the workshop of George Bullock, the circular hinged top with broad contrepartie brass floral band on Coromandel border and gadrooned edge above a line laid brass frieze, on a concave pillar with vine and flower inlay, supported on a quatrefoil base with leaf and bell flower inlay and scrolled feet with recessed castors.

Overall good condition with wear consistent with age and use.
Provenance: Sotheby's, important English furniture, London, 9th July 1993.
Blairman and Sons: 'George Bullock, Cabinet-Maker', 1988, cat. 9 and 44, illustrate two cabinets inlaid with the same leaf and bell flower border as the base of this table, the former supplied by Bullock to John, 4th Duke of Atholl in 1818
