A fine small,solid mahogany mantel clock in excellent original condition. It has a break arch top case with side handles and ogee bracket feet. The case is inlaid with satinwood shell and boxwood stringing. It has a convex bevel edge glass and an enamel dial signed by the original retailer, Maples & Co of Tottenham Court Road, London. It has a French eight day movement that strikes the hours and halves on a gong and was made by Marti of Paris. The case retains its original deep finish and is in excellent condition. The movement has been serviced in our own workshop and is guaranteed for 12 moths within the UK.
