The case has a long trunk door with book matched figured panels and a matching section on the base. The 14" painted dial, by Wilson, has painted fruit within the corners and centre, with a subsidiary seconds and date dial. The 8 day moveemnt strikes the hours on a bell. Made by Samuel Lister of Bolton, (listed as a maker 1770-1795).
The case retains its original finish, the dial has been professionally cleaned and the movement has been serviced and is guaranteed for 12 months.
