A fantastic quality French tallboy or chest of drawers with beautiful plum pudding figured mahogany veneers. The chest has four fluted brass inlaid columns and turned vase shaped feet. The drawer fronts have inset panels with quarter brass mouldings and hexagonal shaped back plates and handles and oak lined drawers.

Drawers three and four were once a writing slope but have been converted many years ago into more functional drawers, which have been done very well.

The chest has a white Carrara marble-top and fitted pierced brass gallery. Underneath, the marble the chest is pencil signed:-
