Inlaid mahogany mantel or table clock by A.D.Mougin, Paris, circa 1900.

This eight-day movement clock will strike hours and half hours on a gong. The very crisp enamel dial showing both Arabic and roman numerals. The wonderful mahogany case has intricate inlay which adds great interest to the case and provides wonderful colour combinations.

Mougin was a renowned clockmaker in his day, having won two gold medals at the Paris Exhibitions for the high quality of his work, which is evident in this clock. His shop was located on Rue de Turenne, Paris.

This is a very impressive clock which would certainly draw attention to a larger mantelpiece or hall table/console.

If you can see this beautiful clock in your home, we would love to hear from you.
All of our clocks are sold mechanically overhauled and in working order.
