Look at what I found on the Online Galleries website!
The top consists of a finely carved cornice with rounded corners and below this is a finely carved frieze with central relief carving of two love birds amidst an arrangement of flowers and fruit within an urn.
The frieze is finely carved with vine leaves and grapes.
The two doors have traditional hinges, although these are brass rather than the commonly used steel, and each has two fielded panels with a carved border again with floral and fruit carved decoration. The armoire also still has the original lock and key.
The side sections are of panelled form and the corners have finely carved decoration.
There is a carved frieze to the base and the interior has a panelled back with shelf and plenty of hanging space - further shelves could be added if required.
This piece is in good condition for age and can go straight into a home.
