Look at what I found on the Online Galleries website!
The tazza has a central medallion in relief of fine quality depicting 'Moses in the basket' (Mose Sauv des Eaux).
The handles, of anthemia design are in the Egyptian style and lead down to the stepped circular base with a decorative edge.
The tazza is inscribed with CH Perron who exhibited in many notable French exhibitions of the time. It is also stamped with a makers mark both on the handles and to the underneath, BD858 which is probably from the famous Barbedienne foundry.
This piece is in very good condition and has a good patination.
An identical piece can be seen in the book 'Bronze Sculptors & Founders' by Schiffer on page 404
