A very attractive French mantel clock, dating to the last quarter of the 19th Century. The gilt ormolu case is mounted with classical masks and acanthus swags. It has hand decorated Serves style porcelain panels, the central one depicting a classical 18th Century scene. The 8 day bell striking movement was made by Japy Frere.
The case is in excellent original well preserved condition, the movement has been serviced in our own workshops and is guaranteed for 12 months. If you would like a video clip of this clock striking please email us.
