The 8-day fusee movement, with anchor escapement, is very elegantly engraved to the base of the substantial backplate with the makers’ signature G & W Yonge, Strand, London. There is a heavy brass bob pendulum with an inverted rating screw. The hour strikes on a gong with pull-repeat.
